Plot:
A race is taking place in LEGO City. But who exactly is running it?

LEGO City is having a grand prix race funded by someone called Infernus. Everyone is excited about this event. But however shortly after races begin a string of robberies had started to occur. Chase thinks Inferno is behind it but the other Agents told him just to enjoy himself and watch the race. Chase tries to take his friends advice but he couldn't just can't help but think that Inferno is behind the robberies.

Meanwhile a rookie reporter named Seymour Brickstein has been sent with other news reporters to report about the grand prix. He to finds it strange that a string of robberies has happen since the prix started and thinks the sponser might have something to do with it. He tells his co-workers about this but they just rebuff him telling to not jump to conclusions. Seymour was use to this kind of behavior from his co-workers since he is a rookie he has a hard proving himself a good reporter but always get stuck with stupid thing to report on. This race is his only chance with getting th respect he deserves.

While Seymour was walking about the city learning more about the robberies he bumped into Agent Chase. The 2 then realize they have the same idea about the robberies and the sponser. Since both of their co-workers are too occupied with the race they decide to work together to uncover robberies and to find out who Infernus really is.
